Courtney France is the former Manager of LEED Services for AEC's
Sustainable Design Assistance Team and now has her own company,
France Sustainable Solutions. She provides LEED consultation and
coordination with project team members. She assists the owner and
the design team to establish a realistic sustainable design goal
for the project, and identifies and integrates viable sustainable
design features into the emerging design. Ms. France has a thorough
understanding of the LEED rating system and its impact on the
design and construction processes.
Ms. France 's experience as a project engineer for a national
general contractor has provided her with excellent insight into the
processes and procedures for integrating sustainable design and
construction practices into the building delivery process. She has
been involved in many aspects of construction, including cost
estimating, materials/component research, field observation and
supervision, and submittal review and approval. Ms. France has
managed the formal LEED Certification for numerous projects.
